I’m from east London where we have a wide selection of Caribbean restaurants and while we where staying in Cheltenham for a weekend there were only two choices of Caribbean restaurants, Turtle bay and Hot and spicy. Despite the lack of choice, we were fortunate enough to come across Hot and Spicy restaurant run by a local Caribbean woman called Lucia and her partner. Me & my mum came in this evening to order some food (Curried Goat & Dumplings) it was absolutely delicious.Staff in the shop were lovely (even the guy that doesn't like cling film haha) very chatty and welcoming, would highly recommend.

Very good food & authentic tasting! Bit expensive for portion sizes & the Curried Goat is my favourite but slightly different to what I'm used to as I'm of Trinidadian heritage! Probably the best West Indian restaurant in Gloucester.
