Really nice old pub on Bristol Road in Gloucester. Parking is limited but on street parking available. Plenty of seating inside and outside front and back. Do nice selection of Real Ales, 6 x, Butcombe. Have different ciders and Lagers available also. They do a Sunday Carvery and other menu options. Staff friendly and welcoming and helpful. This is my mates local and its a great pub, always somewhere quiet to sit if you want to, wam and comforting with a great selection of beers and ciders pool table and dartboard and even a reading area. The epitome of a traditional British boozer and I just wish it was my local.

If you like a decent pint at a good price in a cozy welcoming pub this is a shining example...I recently organised my mother's 60th suprise birthday party here an I was shocked by the incredible staff that was so helpful in helping me an being brilliant hosts ...an giving my mum a birthday she will never forget.I would highly recommend here to anyone that needs a good room or a proper pint
