Awful food and v v poor hygiene!! Just buy sausage for my dog from this place as found worms under counter. Also racist behaviour towards me from a short fat lady with v v discomforting character on 27/03/24. Everything awful! Wont even buy saussage for my dog from here anymore!

Food was awful. Probably the worst fish and chips we've ever had. Chips were green and black , soggy like they'd been boiled then fried. Utterly vile. They werent great a month or so ago when we last went there and gave the benefit of the doubt as usually ok , but this time they were 10 times worse. It's a shame because the staff are lovely

Had a delivery today from quedgeley fryer it was disgusting the chips were so dry like cardboard the fish bites were just a mouthful and they sent me the wrong drink. Never again will I be ordering from

Went to the Quedgeley fryer last night as our chippy is shut. Worst fish and chips. Made me sick. fish was soaked in oil. Lost of the chips were rotten. Should have been checked before cooking.

The Chips are stodgy and not great whoever is in charge of quality control is clearly not bothered, everything else I’ve eaten is ok.
Not good ! I was the only customer in the shop at the time and i found the staff too busy talking to want to serve me ! When i did get served the the lady kept saying pardon because she was to busy chatting to listen ! Food was expensive for what i had and soggy chips ! Wont visit again !

We used to go here regularly until we moved away and it was great, but we went back today and I have never had worse chips in my life - at least half of them had lots of black bits and they tasted absolutely awful. Wish I had taken a photo, and they tasted even worse than they looked

I order from here maybe a few times per month. Lately it’s been hit and miss if I get what I actually paid for. When ordering food for delivery the portion sizes are usually smaller than what I ordered. Several times now I’ve ordered a large chips and large curry sauce. Then when it arrives I have a small chips and small curry sauce. Or I actually get the large chips but then it’s a small curry sauce. I never get the money back from Just eat as they say each restaurant has it’s own portion sizes. Yet I know the sizes of the portions here for those 2 items. The chip shop is making extra money stealing from customers who pay for large portions then receive small ones. When sharing the food with family it’s not enough cos they send a small portion. Please get it sorted as it’s beyond a joke now. Sick of overpaying and not getting what I’ve paid for. It’s a joke that the receipt attached to the bag says large yet they send small. On the plus side I do enjoy the food from here.
