Had dinner here with friends before attending a show at the local village hall. Food was good pub grub (I had a steak and ale pie which was delicious). Very friendly service and a good atmosphere.

Never thought of popping here before but well worth the visit. First of all I would like to give credit all the members of staff, really friendly happy. Nice to see truly a credit to the business. The food we had was all nice and all very well presented. I will definitely be forwarding people your way and will be back with family. All the best.Parking: There is a large over flow car park to the rear more than capable of handling large amounts of guests.

I went as part of a large group for a Christmas meal on Wednesday evening. The food was excellent, everyone commented on how good it was. Service was brilliant too. I had pre-ordered and instead of trying to remember what I had ordered the serving staff came out with our meals and and knew who had ordered them. This was the same for payment, they knew who had eaten what. A great meal was had by all and compliments must go to the chef and staff for this.
Warm welcome from staff, log fires burning, table with a wonderful view across Hartpury, excellent choice of meals, attentive and friendly service, good value for money and a warm and welcoming place to enjoy lunch with friends. Can recommend the Mushroom Risotto, delicious, Friends also recommended the ham hock terrine. Need to book, but so worth a visit.
