Had dinner. Nice to sit outside by the lake (picnic tables). Traditional pub but nice enough. Food - chicken & beef burgers, chicken special (Stilton & bacon sauce) all really nice, all with salad & chips. Huge portions, they like to make sure you are well fed! Friendly staff.
Sunday roast at £13.95 is excellent value for money. 9 to 10 veg, beef, gammon or pork is home cooked and is huge. Eaten here many times and the food and welcome has never faulted.

Just popped in for a drink whilst waiting to view a vehicle for sale up the road so I can't score the food. Looks like a nice little pub with some pretty outdoor space looking over the fishing lake.We'll definitely head back and try the food one day.Rooms available too, dead handy for visiting Gloucester, Cheltenham, Worcester or the Malverns if you want somewhere away from it all.
