Come here regularly. A carvery with the best gravy ever. What more is there to say. Nice and cosy in the winter and great garden for the summer. Nice staff. Great manageress. Try it out.
Waited about 15mins when first arrived at the table for them to take drink orders until my mum politely asked someone (ee would've probably still been waiting) . After that service was then fine. Food was good. Then went to pay at the bar bloke was absolutely lovely tried scanning a voucher i had but unfortunately didn't apply over Christmas but the first waitress we had wouldnt even try scanning it and was quite abrupt. We have been using Toby Carvery for many years and always commend you on the good value for money the meals are. But i was astounded yesterday to be charged £2.40 for a blackcurrant cordial with tap water. Your alcoholic drinks have always been a little pricier than others in the area but we accept them as the food is good. But £2.40 for less than an inch of cordial ???? This is an extortionate mark up on a bottle of squash.
