Great Pub in the centre of Glos ideal for All sports staff friendly highly

What a great little find. In all the years I’ve lived in the county never even knew of this place. We stopped for a pint whilst waiting for a carol concert at the nearby stunning Gloucester Cathedral. We were served quickly and the beer was very tasty. This pub is a great reason for why people should start using pubs again like we used to. Buying alcohol from the supermarket isn’t really the same is it? Maybe pub chains need a bit of marketing to get out out again. Well done the Sword Inn, we shall definitely be back.

Fantastic place foe a cheap beer, atmosphere dropped a bit when the DJ started randomly playing drum and bass but recovered quickly.a good pint at a reasonable price. So come have

Good honest pub lots of TVs for sport barman/landlord not sure very good.

Staff are brilliant polite and quickly. Drink prices are superb. Atmosphere is brilliant plenty of TV’s and sports showing a perfect traditional pub. Outside seating aswell

Not a bad little pub. Nice atmosphere. Could do with a better selection. Music is too loud. Price was right, and that's what counts.

Just great. Great beer good atmosphere super cheap. 2.35 for a pint of cider. Not much more for lager.
