10 Burford St, LechladeIdk what Gary Collins is talking about. Bloke must not be in his right mind. My family and I are here on a walking trip to the Cotswolds from the US. We've been staying at luxury hotels and eating at premium restaurants for the last 5 days.
THIS WAS THE BEST MEAL WE HAVE HAD BY A MILE
The solo chef clearly pours enthusiasm and passion into his food. We've seldom found a menu with a more clear vision and better selection of appealing dishes. We ordered nearly everything on the menu. The fried squid, softshell crab, mussels, and fresh catch John Dory were absolute standouts. The sticky toffee pudding was the best of our trip.
The service was attentive, kind, and clearly understood how to offset orders so as not to overwhelm the solo chef. The wine selection were also quite good.
This will be a meal we one we reminisce about for years to come.

The Victoria Inn
Eastleach, CirencesterBeautiful old building with low ceilings, cosy nooks and fireplaces. Comfortable seating. The service was very attentive without being in your face. I am giving four stars for the food instead of 5 because they had run out of mint sauce to go with my roast lamb. We were a late lunch booking at 3pm, but even so. Also the gravy was on the thick, glutinous side and I prefer a jus type gravy with a stronger, meatier flavour. All in all, a great experience and highly recommend.

Market Pl, Lechlade-on-Thames, LechladeVery nice cafe, we found by chance as it wasn’t coming up on Google maps, at least not as a Coffee place (feedback to the owners). Food and coffee were delicious. Service a bit slow.

The Riverside
The Riverside Park End Wharf, LechladeThis is a lovely picturesque riverside pub/restaurant. Really nice seeing the ducks swim around the river. Absolutely loaded with toilet paper in the toilets. Only complaint is that the food isn't the tastiest.
