Orient Express
22 Ellacombe Rd, Longwell Green, BristolOrient Express is a great choice for a reliable and enjoyable Chinese takeaway and the quality of the food really stands out.
The egg fried rice was cooked perfectly with light fluffy rice and just the right amount of egg mixed through. It tasted fresh and balanced and worked really well alongside the other dishes without being greasy or heavy.
The spring rolls were excellent. They were crispy on the outside with a tasty well seasoned vegetable filling inside. They clearly felt freshly cooked and not oily which made them very satisfying.
The chow mein was just as good. The noodles were cooked properly with a nice texture and the dish was full of flavour without being too salty. The vegetables were evenly mixed through and the portion size was generous.
Overall the food was consistently good and clearly prepared with care. Orient Express is definitely worth recommending if you are looking for a solid and enjoyable Chinese takeaway.

Nemo's Fish Bar
Westons Way, BristolI couldn't believe how big the piece of cod was! I can always finish a portion from any other chip shop I've been to, but this piece had me beaten! Brilliant value for money. The chips were cooked well and the peas and curry sauce were lovely.
Always a friendly greeting.
