My first visit, very good first impression. Had a delightful evening, 5 of us celebrating a dear friend's birthday. Delicious food, great flavours, conscientious service. Look forward to a repeat visit! Thank you!Noteworthy details: A delightful old Inn, immaculate, very welcoming staff. Nice bar, had a nice aperitif there before going through to the dining-room, which was nice & roomy. No overhearing other folks conversations, thank goodness! We were well looked after: a great menu with a nice variety of dishes, everything cooked within eyeshot, you can watch your food being cooked. We had a great evening with delicious food. We'll be back!

We stayed at the Woolaston Inn for one night in our motorhome. The owner let us hook up for free. It’s a very clean and nice place to stay and the food is out of this world. All the staff were fantastic and we will definitely visit again. ??

the three front rooms have broken windows which let the road noise in. staff not bothered that they were broken neither. room not very clean when you arrive it looks like your pulling in to a run down estate pub. there were bicycles left around in the carpark and kids riding them around in the carparkFood & drinks: they serve food and drinks but we didn't try any of them so can't review that

This is probably our favourite restaurant so far. No photos of the food can you believe it !!! because we can not wait to tuck in each time we go.The service is incredible - super friendly and so polite.We can't comment on the rooms as we've not had to use them yet as the location to us now is great.Incredible Gurkha lager...The back garden is so inviting...beautiful!!We can't wait to take our long-distance friends there. They are all superb cooks and will love the quality and incredible tasty meals... they will love The Woolaston as much as we do. just an amazing experience everytime we go.We'll be back for sure Food & drinks: Oh my word. If you have to impress friends or family with AMAZING food... this is the place to go.

Service was slow but with a smile, they ran out of orange juice, the starters I could have made myself with something out of the freezer but the saving grace was that the curries were tasty although they looked very thin. There's nothing really around the Inn.

Entire place was amazing, came for a family getaway managed to host 16 of us with ease. Host were very friendly and informative, outside BBQ area was spot on. Bar staff Nikita Gurung was superb and very professional. Definitely getting recommended to friends and families on booking for future holidays.Rooms: Nice clean sized roomsNearby activities: Go ape activities nearby which we went to, outdoor swimming pool also nearby which some of us went to.Safety: Very quiet place, secure car park no worries about car being broken into or damagedFood & drinks: Food and drinks were fabulous and affordable

I stayed in this hotel for a night over a weekend, the hotel was easy to get to, the staff were very welcoming on arrival, the room was comfortable and equipped well for my stay. The hotel is on a main road but have an excellent safe enclosed space to the rear offering a nice setting. Breakfast was very nice and included. Great price we would go again.
We stayed here two nights in late May 2023 as we were visiting relatives nearby. The rooms were clean and well equipped. The staff were friendly and helpful. The Ghurka restaurant food was excellent and the prices reasonable. They have a large selection of beers and ciders on tap too. The only thing that I thought might need improving was the toilet flushing mechanism in Room 1. It didn't have a handle as such, but relied upon pressing a button repeatedly, even then it took quite sometime to clear the pan completely. However, I was told that this toilet mechanism was not present in the other room that my group hired. Despite this minor problem, all in all, I have no hesitation in recommending the Woolaston Inn to other travelers.
