Beautiful Cotswold pub/restaurant. Excellent food and really good service. Dog friendly. A lovely place to relax and enjoy Sunday lunch.

Delightful late lunch here. It's expensive, but very tasty. If it was cheaper and the apple pie better, would be a 5

Really cute and cosy, we sat right by the fire place. The music was quite trendy, lounge has music and the cocktails tasty, we loved "Bustle in the Hedgerow". We ordered shareable dishes, all delicious. The waiters were all quite good at establishing report, overall a great experience. My favorite there is definitely the interior design, so charming!

Where to start on the details of The Fox;It's an incredible pub, if you fancy fine dining with a more 'casual' experience to it, then this is just the place. With a wide variety of menus, available to choose from throughout the week, your sure to want to come back, more than once. The pub itself has a cozy, yet 'old-fashioned' feel to it. Coupled with amazing members of staff, makes this pub an ideal place to visit, should you be travelling from far and wide or if you fancy a nip to the local pub.Vegetarian options: There will usually be 1-3 different options, per course, including the Pizza & Bar Snacks menu.Dietary restrictions: The Fox at Oddington can cater most Dietary restrictions.Parking: Limited parking, on-sight, but plenty of on-street parking.Kid-friendliness: 100%!! Including dog-friendly, as well!Wheelchair accessibility: Sadly, not. There are steps to enter the pub with no proper wheelchair access and non of the rooms are supported for Wheelchairs.

Very cute pub/restaurant near Daylesford Organic that we visited for dinner. We ordered the wings, some pizzas, and desserts - all of which we enjoyed. Service was fantastic, and the music and vibes were surprisingly upbeat (and good).

Lovely pub in a cutesy little town. Great spot to stop for an afternoon wine!

My partner and I recently stayed for 1 night and also dined in the restaurant. Overall, we had a great experience and would highly recommend. We stayed in the Masters room which was BEAUTIFUL and exceeded our expectations. The interior was so perfectly styled and the room was very spacious. Although of course not at all expected, I did think in hindsight that having a small welcome token on arrival (just something little like a welcome drink, baked good from the farm shop etc) may have made it feel extra special, but doesn’t take away from how great the room was. The bed was super comfy and we loved the towels and underfloor heating in the bathroom! When we arrived, the room was a tiny bit cold and although it heated up by the time we returned from dinner, it may have been helpful to pop the heating on a little earlier to ensure it was warm when we arrived. We went downstairs for dinner where we had a cocktail in the bar before going through to the restaurant. Despite it being a Monday night, there was a lovely buzzy atmosphere - it could easily have been a Friday evening. Our food was lovely- we both had steaks for our main course which were well cooked and tasted great. I did ask our server if we might be able to order a sauce for our steak but it eventually turned out this wasn’t possible. I suppose this is fair as there wasn’t a sauce on the menu and maybe the chefs were busy, but I did think that this wouldn’t have taken too much additional effort for the chefs to make. Regardless, it didn’t take away from our enjoyment of the meal overall and we loved the soft serve ice cream for dessert - simple yet delicious. Breakfast was also great and we had a choice of 2 courses from a varied and interesting menu- not just the usual full English which was nice! Staff were friendly and helpful throughout! Overall, a perfect spot for a luxurious yet relaxed break! Would definitely return.

What a fantastic place this is. An exemplary Cotswold gastro pub with excellent food. Not to mention the buzzing vibe around the restaurant. I’d highly recommend the sticky toffee pudding!

We recently spent a family meal at The Fox, what a wonderful place; beautiful setting and a lovely atmosphere. However having ordered meals for Children’s starters and then mains, the Children’s main meal was brought out before anyone including the children had received their starter. That wasn’t a problem to us, we let the waiter know they hadn’t had their starters but what was the problem was the rudeness of two members of staff (one of whom seemed to be the manageress!! although it was unclear if that was her position) she eye rolled directly at us as though we were causing her a problem for simply asking for a starter to be brought before a main! Never in my life have I ever experienced such rude service, everything was a problem for her. She should not be working in hospitality with an attitude like that. We felt as though our simply being there was a major issue for her. She spoilt the whole meal for us, which is so sad as the young girls who also served us and the male senior member of staff were charming. We simply ate our mains and left and would not be paying the £64 service charge expected after the worse service we have had in our lives! A real shame as we love The Wild Rabbit and Daylesford but will not return to have eyes rolled at us for simply requesting that a starter was brought out before a main!!!! Finally to point out as a dog lover myself there is a time and a place for them, and sat at a dinner table on their owners knees where people are going to eat their meals and barking constantly in a restaurant is not one of them! I’m not sure how this is hygienic in any way.

Atmosphere calm, relaxed. Ambience, perfect, staff, amazing, work VERY Hard and aim to please. We wanted a different christmas so we went to stay in a Cottage very near Lower Oddington, never been to Cotswolds area, planned to spend alot of our time in a good traditional pub to drink and have nibbles. We hit the jackpot with The Fox. We sat at the bar xmas eve and xmas day. All the Bar staff were super efficient and made us very welcome. As did everyone in the Pub, very interactive, very dog friendly and great conversation with locals and other people visiting. Can not see why anyone would not like this place. We will be back for sure. Thank you to all at The Fox.
