We arrived on a cold wet Saturday eve after a long drive with our dog, the restaurant was fully booked but the host / restaurant manager Sebby couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful he managed to fit us in at the start of service he kindly explained that we should book on a Saturday eve going forward but sat us next to the fire and let us have access to the full menu which never disappoints! I just wish to specially thank Neil for his kind and friendly manner. He really made such a special effort to talk to us and welcome us. The food was delicious but it was Neil's hospitality that made my day and we will be back again when we return to the Cotswolds because of him. Breakfast here is slow paced, relaxing and a joy to soak up the terrace and its beautifully designed interior. We did wait a little longer than average, and we received money off the bill, plentiful apologies and free items whilst we waited. Quality of the food on offer is of course excellent, ingredients are high quality and presentation mouthwatering to say the least.
