Only a flying visit but a roaring log fire and Butty Bach on draught is irresistible, the menu looks good and ingredients are locally sourced. I will be returning in the summer to enjoy the beer garden... Hopefully the wife will drive home.
This pub is in the town of Newent, and is popular with local people, which is always a good sign.. There's a large car park and outdoor area and the atmosphere inside is friendly and lively. There's often free live music available so plenty of good reasons to call in!

Absolutely top bloke who run’s place mark I think his name was? Makes you feel at home and always up for a decent chat if needed??on top of that locals are a right laugh and good for a general chit chat if wanted. Service 10/10 Vibes 20/10 not complaining one bit
