We stopped in Newent in the middle of a long drive, to try and find some lunch, and we're lucky enough to discover Errol's Courtyard cafe. It was perfect for our family - kid's foodbox, sausage sandwich for the growing lad, panini for Dad, and chips and salad for me. Good coffee, friendly staff, everyone was welcoming to children, and amazingly cheap if you're used to Oxford city centre prices. Very friendly staff and food is exceptional high standard. We eat at Erols nearly every day. Highly recommended, if in Newent a cafe not to be missed out on, come try for yourself. You will soon be back for more.

We struggled to find somewhere to eat in Newent until we spotted this café. Friendly warm welcome from the lovely staff. Plenty of outside tables in a small courtyard as well as the indoor ones. The large all day breakfast was unbelievable value for money, as was my lasagne, served with coleslaw, very fresh salad and fries. If you want somewhere to eat in Newent this is the place.
