Great friendly pub, with top beers always available, and a warm welcome. Definitely worth a visit if you live in or visit Newent and are in the market for good beer, a great choice of gin, and a friendly staff and clientele.

We stopped in Newent in the middle of a long drive, to try and find some lunch, and we're lucky enough to discover Errol's Courtyard cafe. It was perfect for our family - kid's foodbox, sausage sandwich for the growing lad, panini for Dad, and chips and salad for me. Good coffee, friendly staff, everyone was welcoming to children, and amazingly cheap if you're used to Oxford city centre prices. We will definitely stop here again (and there's even a board game museum next door to investigate while you wait for your food).

Our 30th Wedding Anniversary we treated ourselves to a meal out, so to The Malswick, where we'd booked previously. We'd wanted a quiet, peaceful place, with good food and service, We hit the jackpot, other than a couple or three youngsters playing pool in the other bar and the owner/manager We were alone, it was warm inside as outside it was cold wet foggy and dark. Neither my wife and I drink though she did have a couple of half lagers, having worked behind bars myself and in my youth destroyed quite a few brain cells I've not drunk for 20+ years, I digress, The food.......Kaz had a pasta dish, I had this enormous "Argos plate" which was piles of mixed meat, pittas, chips and salad, the taste flavours that reminded me of a long ago holiday in Turkey, it was great, Kaz also enjoyed hers and reviewed separately. After the meal I had lemon cake, highly recommend, I didn't eat The Argos Plate entirely I couldn't it was too much, we brought home remains in a "doggybag" I'd asked the waiteess to take a few pics on my phone of my wife and I which she was happy to do so, please forgive me not naming her, I am useless with names and a tad forgetful. In all at The Malswick, good food, good service and quiet on a cold damp late November night.Parking: Easy to park ample spacesWheelchair accessibility: Yes ramp upto door.Being disabled myself though not yet in need of wheelchair I do keep an eye on these things

Only had chips, bbq sauce and 2 spring roll. Best part of 15 quid. Not many different ingredients in the roll and a bit greasy, but full enough with bean shoots.Nice service at counter.Better than the only other Chinese in Newent though, so winner, winner, sizzling wok for dinner.

Tried the bakery while on holiday. Steak slice and chicken mushroom slice were fantastic! Sausage roll was a bit too salty for my taste. Doughnuts tasted more like supermarket ones. Chocolate chip shortbread and bakewell tart were excellent. Nicole provided very friendly customer service.

Hard to find this establishment on TripAdvisor as the cafe is in Roses Garden Centre. It is in a row of 3 garden centres and is the most reasonable.Cafe Rosie is light and airy and all on the flat, there are toilets there as well. They have a very varied menu and daily specials. We only had coffee as there doesnt seem to be Gluten Free options due to the inability to isolate certain wheat containing foods. However it was very nice there as it was our first but not last visit.

Each dish had its own distinctive flavours- no standard curry here. The food was hot and carefully served, initially by the waiter. The items on the menu were clearly described and further elaboration readily provided, if requested, by the staff. Bangladeshi , rather than just Indian, dishes were particularly good eg. Chicken Nilgri, Dahl makani! Staff were attentive but not overly. Lovely relaxed atmosphere, excellent food, good service. What not to like? little gem in a sleepy town fantastic

Stayed here while away for work. As a single female travelling alone, I felt very safe and welcomed. Had an issue with my room, and they did everything they could to sort the issue, which I was very grateful for.Ate here, and the food was good quality pub grub, and the atmosphere in the pub/dinning area was lovely. All staff are very welcoming and helpful.

First time having a takeaway at Newent Kebab House. We had 4 small pizzas to try out different toppings and can honestly say they were the best we've eaten. Look forward to trying the kebabs very soon.
