Five Stars for the Pub. One Star for the Car Park! I entered the car park as usual through the lower entrance and tried to leave at the upper end where it was blocked by cars parked on the other side of the narrow road. Can you please just block this entrance off as it cannot now be used by visitors leaving the car park. Ridiculous!
Visited on New Years Day for lunch, fairly busy but not overly. Whilst the steak sandwich which I chose was very tasty, I was very disappointed that for £15 you literally just get the sandwich - no garnish, no crisps, no chips. Not even anything to make the plate look full! Ended up ordering chips to go with it, so in total almost £20 for a lunchtime sandwich ? Food was OK but the service was slow. Others served in front of us despite arriving after. The "warm welcome" you advertise needs looking at! Tried it but won't be going back.
