Pilning St, Pilning, BristolWe are locals to the plough and use it as a social drinks pub. We decided recently to start eating there once a week to try it out. We are foodies and eat regularly in many restaurants around Bristol so quite fussy when it comes to the quality of food. We were extremely happy with our cowboy steak meals tonight! The steaks were sourced from our local farm shop which we know to be excellent. They were cooked to Perfection ( medium rare) with sides of chips, onion rings and blue cheese sauce! Proper pub grub cooked amazingly! Well done guys, you’ve put Miller and Carter to shame!

Nice varied menu. Food was well presented and very hot. Staff were very friendly and explained why I was unable to take my dog in, which i understood totally and put her in the car ( with the window open) will definitely be back again. Keep up the great work ladies. And the young gentlemen behind the counter.
