5, Wesley Buildings, Newport Rd, CaldicotHad a fantastic evening here tonight with close friend and my 3 children. Atmosphere was relaxed and fun, staff all very welcoming and accommodating. Am always impressed with the Manager (or may be the Owner, not sure). He is so personable and appears very committed to gaining honest feedback on the food. The food was genuinely outstanding, as a group we all ordered different starters and mains and every one of them was excellent. I cannot find fault with any aspect and it will continue to be my restaurant of choice for any occasion. Thank you ?Kid-friendliness: Very family friendly, welcoming of children

The food here was amazing quality all served at the same time.
It's got a lovely atmosphere with gentle music in the background.
The staff are extremely helpful and friendly faultless service too.
Will definitely be going here again as the quality price and atmosphere is great
Vegetarian options: A small but quality choice you won't be disappointed in my opinion the falafel burger that one of our party had said it was amazing
Wheelchair accessibility: Disabled access is slightly awkward due to the nature of the building. A very slight lip going through the front door but don't be put off once inside staff will do anything they can to ensure disabled users are especially welcome too. Disabled parking spaces near door slightly sloped car park with a good flat surface.

Lovely and friendly employees, a small and cosy place with a great menu. I found no trouble finding a spot right outside pizza milano in the evening

The staff are all lovely and welcoming. Me and husband have recently moved to the area and this was the first Desi place we’ve tried and honestly it reminded us of home cooked food. Will deffo keep coming back here.

180c Newport Rd, CaldicotWe order for the shish and kofte kebabs. They are generous portions and fresh. Ordering can be up to an hour during peak times but if you plan ahead with this in mind, then the wait is hardly noticeable. The pizza offer is great for when we have friends & family visiting. I think I have had one mistake in 3 years, they happen.

Weeks Fish & Chips
4AE, 184 Newport Rd, Caldicotpersonally I think the Fish and chips here are great and I have used many times, the only thing that lets them down is the painfully slow service, there is zero multi tasking going on, it really is painful to watch, the sign at the counter says training new staff please be patient, I am all for that but this sign has been up months, how long can it take to train someone ?Please get some kind of system going and help each other out.....
