Second visit here and very impressed by the quality and range of food. Two of us had Steak and Ale pie which had the excellent vote. The other two had the tuna steaks which also were rated excellent. A very buzzy pub with a great range of beer and friendly and helpful staff. One suggestion I would like to make is as follows: The bar area was very crowded and the food ordering section at the end had people perched on stools rather blocking and impeding ordering. The Fox is a rare breed these days. Proper pub with excellent Landlord and a great pint of Bass among other good beers. However, the food isn’t just normal pub grub. It’s exceptional. Give it a try. It’s well worth the diversion from the A38.

We were a group of 6 ladies having celebrated a daughter’s wedding the day before. We needed a lovely place to chat, enjoy a Sunday lunch and relax. The Fox didn’t disappoint, in fact it’s the best Sunday roast I’ve had in a pub ever!The meal was superb, the service friendly and efficient.We’ll be back- thank you!Vegetarian options: Our two vegetarian eaters enjoyed their meal very much
