I've visited Chicken Select on Ealing Road Alperton several times since discovering it a couple of months ago. It stands out on this road as it's frontage is very clean, unlike the majority in the neighborhood. I'm a fan of Peppe's piri piri outlets but sadly quality seems to vary greatly across their franchises. I will make a purposeful trip to Rickmansworth for a Peppe's as theirs seems the most consistent and reliable. I would compare this branch of Select Chicken to the former...read full review
Under new management. Returned to establishment to give them another go. Also partly because I live nearby. First nicely greeted by staff. Selected 2 half grilled peri peri chicken and 2 wedges. Paid and was told to return 15 minutes later but the staff apologized and said it was not ready and asked me to return 15 minutes later and apologized again, I said it's no issue. I returned for our order 20 minutes later. It was ready and got another portion of wedges for the trouble!...read full review
Somewhat of a regular at Selekt chicken now. Chicken is always made fresh and tastes utterly superb. Better than KFC and freshly battered to their own recipe. Staff are polite and prices reasonable. Thoroughly recommend.
