This pub not only has a fantastic choice of real ales, other beers and cider but has relaxing decor, original interiors, and unusual frontage.The furniture is comfortable and it's possible to stand and drink at the bar if desired.Toilets are upstairs and there is a garden to the rear for fine days.
frankly it's a public service that they do in so consistently bringing fresh new flavours, range and scope. it's never the same selection but its assembly is always clearly the work of a connoisseur. if you're looking for a boozer with a pool table and football it's not it but if you care about the liquid in your glass and want to enjoy a lovely afternoon in fine surroundings do yourself a favour

Fantastic spacious pub, with some interesting windows and mirrors. Huge range of stunning craft beer, including several imperial stouts all on tap. Half a dozen or so cask ales, I only had one ( stayed in the kegged beers for the rest ), but it was in fantastic condition, a beautiful chocolate orange stout. Also had a bottle corner, with some great lambic and gueuze selection.
