Casual neighbourhood italian with friendly service. I've never tasted a proper carbonara so I ordered that. It was a triumph - rich, golden, egg based sauce with delicious chewy pancetta (vs the typical Brit version of white roux with bacon). I asked for a side salad of cherry tomatoes and rocket and even that was dressed to perfection. Five of us dined for my birthday and the rest enjoyed their pizzas and aperol spritzers, although I think I ordered the best dish ?

As a local Spaccanapoli has been a gem amongst an excess of kebab shops and cheap fast food in the Colindale area. I have had consistently good food and good service (including home delivery) whether dining alone or with friends and/ or family. It's hard to recommend just one main dish as all the pizza and pasta I have had over the years has been good, but do eat-in if you can, remembering to book as they do fill up at weekends. The food was wonderful and the service was even better. Zaneita was a gem! She ensured that my son and I were well taken care of and even made recommendations from the menu. Very welcoming, helpful and friendly! I returned after my first dine in because of the wonderful service received. P.S the bruschetta is to die for!!!!Kid-friendliness: Recommendations were made to suit my son and Zaneita even offered to make him a special chocolate drink.
