Restaurants in East Finchley
Table Du Marche
111 High Rd, LondonAbsolutely outstanding. Table du Marché is the kind of neighbourhood restaurant that reminds you why dining out can still feel special.
From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between cosy and refined—warm, intimate, and effortlessly French. The service is exemplary: attentive without being intrusive, genuinely knowledgeable, and delivered with a relaxed confidence that immediately puts you at ease.
The food is where this place truly shines. Every dish feels thoughtfully crafted, rooted in classic French technique but executed with freshness and precision. Flavours are bold yet elegant, portions are generous without being heavy, and the quality of ingredients is unmistakable. Each course arrives beautifully presented, and it’s clear that real care and pride go into every plate. Whether it’s a perfectly cooked main or a dessert that lingers in your memory long after the last bite, everything feels spot-on.
Add to that a well-curated wine list that complements the menu beautifully, and you have a dining experience that feels both indulgent and comforting.
In short, Table du Marché is a gem—reliably excellent, deeply satisfying, and the kind of place you want to return to again and again. A true local treasure and easily one of the best French dining experiences in London.

Gaya Cafѐ
The Pavilion Lyttelton Playing Fields, Kingsley Way, LondonStumbled upon this freshly reopened gem of a cafe during a wander through the Garden Suburb. The coffee was delightfully good and sensibly priced, so two big wins right out of the gate. I had a friendly chat with the cheerful local owner, who’s clearly on a mission to improve the community and provide a relaxing events space (with a side of strong espresso) in the park. Definitely worth a detour during your own wanderings, or just in need of a decent flat white and a moment of peace.

Domino's Pizza - London - East Finchley
88 High Rd, LondonNormally don't review fast food chains, but been buying food from here for like, 20 years, and they always do a good job.
On the rare occasion they aren't able to fulfill something from my order, they're happy to get in contact to rectify it (like they did tonight), or they'll help me out if I call up to enquire. Drivers are always very friendly. Only thing I'd like is to be able to tip the team without having to use the dominos app, as I've deleted it from my phone - but not a complaint, just a request to show appreciation to the team!
