This is my local, and I do enjoy going here on a Friday or a Saturday, the staff are amazing and love to bring fun and enthusiasm to their work to make it enjoyable, on my very first visit the staff remembered who i was each time i visited I do spend a hefty amount when I go out for drinks but there are happy hours where promotion prices are available, you could enjoy yourself for as little as £30 and overall it is an affordable establishment.
Been here a few weekends now, Great atmosphere. Super friendly staff. Totally different vibe Friday and Saturday nights so definitely caterers for everyone.Finally A great family run pub right on my doorstep.

Went to the lion for the first time for new years eve and had a great time! Definitely going back. Great atmosphere, staff helpful and friendly. Music and dj really good, everyone dancing and enjoying the evening!
