Great little pub! Booked a table to meet some friends for some drinks and a bite to eat.The staff were super lovely and very attentive. We ordered some drinks at the table and they came back a few times to check if we were ready for food.My husband and I ordered the Fish and Chips where our friends ordered a few couple small plates. The food was delicious!Given Dry January, they had a couple of choices for non-alcoholic beer and even a non alcoholic Gin (Seedlip)

I had an absolutely magical experience at The White Lion, all thanks to the charm of Hugo. His charisma not only lit up the pub but made the atmosphere was so delightful, we ordered cocktails he really delivered. Hugo's enchanting attention to detail made it the best Christmas Eve get together we have ever had.Kudos to The White Lion and the charming hero, Hugo!

Our first time in as a group and we were made to feel welcome by our host, Hugo. We ordered the fried fish, the non vegan burger and the Irish steak and kidney pudding. One sticky toffee pudding was shared among the three of us. My dining companions who had the burger and fried fish ALWAYS have the same in every place we go, so that was a good benchmark.
