I love this pub! It's a local boozer and not a tourist trap but if you are a tourist staying in the local area I would recommend dropping in and meeting some locals.\\nI used to live around here and every time I’m back in the area I’ll pop in for a few pints and food. It really has great prices on UK ales, great cask ales and smaller brewery ales too and usually a varied range of them on tap. A Wetherspoons pub which is very well run. Te beer is kept in excellent order, We tried a variety dishes and all were cooked very well indeed. The staff were quick and friendly, also a very clean place and just a 5 minute walk from the end of the High Street. well worth making the effort.

Was in town for a brief visit and looking for a place to have cold beer and good food. This place is amazing: great variety of drinks, friendly staffs, nice atmosphere, and reasonable price! Talking about customer service, Ben was attentive and made sure that our expectations were met. Would recommend this place!
