I have tried Ambala and a few others around Ilford. But this place treats people very well and friendly staff. The man helped me to tell me what each item was. The variety is amazing and taste is fresh. Im coming back next week.
After the Leyton branch has been shut for over a year, took the plunge with the Ilford Branch, everything was fresh and tasty. Usually buy Mitai from Ambala but Gourmet have a wider selection which reminds me of my childhood days. Only one cashier working, needed more staff as the que was outside the shop. Jalebis were nice

Have tried them multiple times. Love their Kheer, Gajar ka Halwa and Kashmiri Chai. The prices are super reasonable. They are also very cooperative to Carter specific demands. They also gave me a discount.
