A small but lively basement cocktail bar. We came here on a weekday for the cocktail week and while the enterence was tricky to spot, we found it eventually. During our time here it was really busy, even in the middle of the week which was a small inconvenience as we only had room to stand. Very cool speakeasy atmosphere. I'm not usually a massive cocktail drinker but I asked for something not too sweet and enjoyed the drink the bartender recommended.The menu was a bit bizarre, It says things like "if you like X try Y". Except Y isn't on the menu.. I guess you have to ask the bartender what it is but unless you're visiting in a very quiet time that doesn't seem practical. Looks like a derelict building on the outside but through a battered door and down into the basement is a fabulous cocktail bar. Quite small but cute.The person who took our drinks order was fantastic; very helpful with recommendations and very attentive too.Great little place and reasonably priced cocktails too (for London)
