Lunchtime sojourn to Nunhead Green for a visit to a wine bar which serves a wide range of Vermouths. The "Hora de la Vermut" isn't just a drink in Spain, but also an activity. It's said one vermouth before lunch is good, two are better. No food at lunch time so between us we tried 4 vermouth, all excellent and recommended by knowledgeable and friendly staff. I've been here for drinks and also to purchase wine to take away. Staff are lovely and friendly. It's a great spot for an evening out and sells really nice wine and snacks to take home.

Lively, and a pleasant mumur of voices chatting away. Noticed an absence of people looking at their phones rather than enjoying company of others. Great to see for a change. Good choice of drinks and generous portion of olives and salted almonds. Helpful lady arranging a table and chairs for me and my sisters, whilst balancing her bag on her shoulder. Wish we had places like this where I live which is out of London and very predictable in available bars and eateries.
