We arrived at Eric’s and saw the Q :-( but definitely worth the wait. We bought a selection of cakes and pastries. The hot cross bun was still warm and I devoured it within minutes, licking my fingers afterwards, got to be the best hot cross I’ve ever tasted. The cheese swirl smell and taste just as good. One of the best croissant and PAC I've ever had - highly highly recommend!A few additional points for anyone not local to East Dulwich:Free parking on the road, easy to find spots.Queue was about 7-10 mins when I got there on a Friday at 8:20am.Pretty swift and service once inside is quick and efficient.At that time, everything was still available (plentiful) but I hear it does sell out if you wait too long.

Cute bakery and very very kind staff! Looks like they really put care in every detail.Pastry dough was extremely flaky, a big thumbs up for me, although flavour could maybe be improved. Sausage roll and ruhbarb bakewell tarte were sublime.
