Really delicious meal, very delightful atmosphere and caring service. Checked all the boxes! The salt and pepper squid was a great way to start. We enjoyed the steak, sea bass, BBQ ribs and artichoke tortelloni. Everything was a winner!

My family and I were very pleasantly surprised to find this restaurant. The chef's at Forty Four clearly know their way around a kitchen, because even though we ordered Sunday roasts, every element was executed perfectly. This is not a carvery! To start, we ordered a seared goat's cheese salad to share. It was beautifully presented and very tasty. Visited for the first time tonight. The menu has a really good variety of dishes all of which I was tempted by. We had the chicken Milanese and the miso cod. Both were excellent, lovely presentation, even the rice side dish was excellent, really can't fault the food. The service was also really good, the cocktails were reasonably priced and v good and we had the cheapest red wine at £25.50 and that was delicious. We will definitely be back
