This small cafe is on white Cross Street with Banner Street. White Cross Street is a foodie street with food stalls out most days.I popped in for a quick bacon roll towards the end of the day. It was quiet, but I imagine it gets rammed at lunchtime. The food was OK, and the prices seemed in line with the area.Parking: Forget about it. Too expensive

This is a friendly, cheap eatery in the middle of Clerkenwell that outdoes its competitors.Along with friend Tim I arrived late for lunch (about 3pm), but the staff made us welcome despite being about to close.There's nothing exotic on the menu, but they have a nice range of toasted sandwiches, salads and typical fry-ups.Tim chose the latter with a coffee, but had just mushrooms on toast with tea. We were staying at a 5 star hotel just down the road but the the breakfast was luke-warm and limited on choice so we decided to find somewhere open on a Sunday morning so took a walk to this cafe as it had quite a good rating on a swell known search engine .
