I came here to do some work... Joanne and chef looked after me while on site...Very friendly and accommodating... I've visited this pub before but not for a few years and was extremely impressed with the current set up. We had a large family gathering on a Sunday and found the staff welcoming, the pub warm and comfortable and the food and drink fantastic. We were initially worried that there may not be much choice for vegegarians and for one of our party who was gluten free. Welcoming staff , not sitting on top of other people. Wine surprisingly good. Food tasty ,good value. Lovely place to while away an afternoon .
