This place has seriously changed and I don't just mean the name to The Powerhaus Since my last visit over 30 years ago. I saw the men they couldn't hang and it was a night filled with remembrance for those no longer with us but also let us singing and stomp our hearts out. What a wonderful night.
Perfect location on the north side of the canal. Catches the sun perfectly in the afternoon and the building gives excellent views of the locks and on warm, sunny days is airy and light. The landlord is knowledgeable regarding his beers, is witty with an engaging dry sense of humour. The Camden Town Pale Ale is excellent, crisp, happy and refreshing on a hot day. Great place! The staff are lovely, there's a good range of beers (and not terrible prices for London). The interior pays tribute to the Victorian warehouse, but it's been done up comfy. Sipping a beer and looking out at the lock is a great way to spend your time.
