My first visit to the Wolseley, went with my grandson & my cousins. They were very accommodating as we were only going for drinks & short of time. We were seated almost immediately, which was great.We had a selection of ice teas, herbal teas, afternoon tea, hot chocolate & a milkshake. Also a few snacks & nibbles. I visited after making a reservation, but I was kept waiting even after my reservation time. I was asked to wait at the bar next door, but unfortunately the bar was full of people and there was no space to wait.I guess it can't be helped since it's a popular restaurant, but the tables were close together and it was noisy, so it didn't feel like you could have a relaxing meal.It was a shame because the scones were so delicious, but I was soothed by the hospitality of the staff.
We came for lunch at The Woseley on a Tuesday afternoon. Was Busy, recommend to book in advance. Open table doesn’t allow to book the same day so we called. The interiors are beautiful, big chandeliers with great gatsby vibes. I had the chopped chicken Salad, beef tartar and veal schnitzel. Amazing Negroni. Good portions, food came out very quickly.
