Ordered Fishcake and Chips. £11. The Fishcake and the Chips were reasonably tasty however both were quite dry. The main reason for the 3/5 though is I was expecting more from the food given the high prices.
Decent fish, can't fault it, and the sausage was better quality than other places. However, we ordered a take away fish chips and battered sausage and had to wait for 30 minutes to pick it up. The place was not full and not many delivery drivers were around so I really don't know why there was such a delay. There were others coming and going with their orders but we were still waiting. Food is great. 10% service charge added to the bill without asking. The staff could have been much more polite and took a long time to get hold of and we’re chatting to each other a lot so hard to get their attention so wouldn’t have tipped even if it wasnt already on the bill.
