The tall gentleman with long hair wasn’t just a server, he was a master of communication and sales. The way he confidently and smoothly guided us through the menu was simply mind-blowing. I ended up ordering everything he recommended, and it felt like it was my own choice that’s how effortlessly he created the perfect dining loop.
Watching how he interacted with other customers too, it was clear this level of service wasn’t just for one table — it’s his standard.
Been in the hospitality industry since ages but honestly, I’ve never come across such an exceptional waiter in my life. That guy is an absolute gem, and he turned a great meal into a memorable dining experience.
Highly recommend this place, not just for the delicious food but for the outstanding service that sets it apart. ??️✨
Tip: Must give a try to Lahori Special Karahi (Lamb)

Haste Hill Golf Club, The Dr, NorthwoodGreat place to eat in, nice find, ordered online first time and then came back to eat in. Pratik our waiter was fantastic and very attentive, food was served piping hot and very tasty especially indo chinese dishes.
My mother whom is quite fussy about food also enjoyed it very much, not too spicy either. Bombay paneer especially very good as is the crispy bhajiya and all chutneys of which there are very good variety.

I love what this place is doing and want it to thrive.
They have a pay it forward kindness act - little things like that create real community spirit, and Wyld Thyme was certainly alive and electric with that energy. They were also celebrating their 4th birthday when I visited (congrats!).
Naturally, I had to try a selection of their baked goods, and there was a great variety - not your usual cookie-cutter options, so I opted for:
- Strawberry cream sponge with lemon (ok)
- Almond frangipane
- Blueberry frangipane (both frangi's had a grainy texture)
- Coconut & pineapple cake (the nicest)
- Walnut roll (had an eggy taste)
Alas, the elusive almond croissant still escapes me!
Everything looked great and was clearly made with care, some of the flavours didn’t quite hit for me. The coffee though was excellent. That said, I’ll be back - there’s a lot of heart in this place, and next time I’ll try one of their dishes.
Whilst waiting for my treats to be packed up, I was lucky enough to experience a kind act myself, so here's me, paying it forward and hoping you visit this charming cafe with its wonderful staff.

28 Green Ln, NorthwoodHello my new favorite Italian restaurant! Disclaimer: It is quite understated on the outside, has a lowkey hole-in-the-wall vibe, at first sight. But my goodness, you enter a charming little world of delicious soul food accompanied by warm and welcoming service. The servers went out of their way to accomodate our specific dietary needs and the food exceeded expectations. I was recommended Northwood Piazza by local friends and family and was honestly blown away by how tasty the food was. Reccomendations: You must try the Tagliatelle Calabresi, Penne all' Arrabbiata, Bruschetta, Scamponi & Pizza. The flavor and freshness are out of this world. I would travel distances and endure London's painful traffic daily, just to visit this spot again. Compliments to the chef and fantastic staff!

9 Joel St, NorthwoodFirst time visiting Mandarin and we had a wonderful evening. I was craving Chinese food and this really hit the spot! We had no reservation but called 10mins before and the staff were super friendly and warm.
We had looked at the menu beforehand & ordered the vegetarian starter plate for 2 - a great selection, and we really loved the salt&chilli broccoli, and satay skewers. I would definitely have the brocolli again! (Spring rolls could have been a little bit crispier)
Staff were attentive and warm, decor was lovely and it was a relaxing & enjoyable experience (unlike some restaurants that rush you!) We weren't rushed to order mains, and were really impressed with our black bean mock duck sizzler. We were a bit too full but have leftover Singapore noodles as takeaway.
Great veggie & vegan options with lots of range & clear labelling (sometimes very hard to come by!)
We will definitely be back.

Domino's Pizza - London - Northwood
47 Joel St, NorthwoodDomino’s is my go-to for pizza nights — quick delivery, great variety, and consistent quality. Their Chicken Feast, Texas BBQ, and Pepperoni Passion are my usual picks, and every one of them comes loaded with toppings and bubbling hot cheese. I also love the Garlic & Herb Dip — it’s addictive and goes with everything.
The crust is soft with a bit of crisp on the edge, and their stuffed crust option is definitely worth it if you’re hungry. The cookies and chocolate lava cakes are surprisingly good as dessert add-ons too.
Delivery is always fast, and I’ve never had a wrong or cold order from this branch. The staff are courteous and the order tracking system makes everything easy. It’s hard to beat Domino’s when you want fast, tasty pizza with zero fuss.
