Nice peaceful place with delicious food and a good selection on the menu. I came with my family and we ordered the weekend set menu. The waitress was friendly and welcoming.
However, I was disappointed when the bill arrived. Instead of £96, we were charged £116 — a significant £20 difference. The waitress did not apologise for the mistake and simply said the till calculated it that way. I understand it may not have been her fault personally, but she still represents the restaurant, so the response could have been more professional.
I raised the issue with the assistant manager, who apologised on behalf of the restaurant, but that was all that happened. Hopefully, the staff responsible read this review and take action, because customers should always double-check their bills in case the till calculations are incorrect, as happened with mine.
Unfortunately, this experience also meant no tip for the waitress.
One more thing to note: the advertised 10% discount for registering does not apply to the set menu, although this is not made very clear, so make sure to read the conditions carefully if you can find them.

Dined in on a Sunday evening. From start to finish the experience was exceptional. Atmosphere is very calming and has a sophisticated look. The service was remarkable, the staff were always checking up on our table to see if we needed any more drinks or food. The food was extremely tasty, the presentation was amazing and it was cooked to perfection especially the punjabi lamb Kadai. We ordered a variety of starters aswell and couldn’t fault any of them. 10/10 experience would highly recommend. Perfect for a family gathering like a birthday dinner or even a nice dinner date.

We celebrated my son’s 12th birthday party at Bar Italia today along with his friends. Total 13 children and it was absolutely amazing! The atmosphere was fantastic, and the staff looked after us so well from start to finish.
The food was great, and they were so accommodating — they allowed us to bring a birthday cake, added candies from their side, and brought everything to the table while singing. It made the celebration so special
They even took my son behind the bar to show him around, which was such a lovely touch and really shows their outstanding customer service. Children had a wonderful time.
A very special thank you to Andrew (or Andreas — I’m sorry if I’ve got the name slightly wrong!) who looked after us incredibly well. We truly appreciate it. Will be back soon.

As someone who isn’t particularly a fan of Japanese cuisine, I was initially unsure of what to order. However, thanks to the patience and guidance of Prasan and Bhavi, they recommended dishes that suited my palate perfectly—and I ended up really enjoying the meal!

My wife and I brought along our two children, who are notoriously fussy eaters, but the friendly and helpful demeanor of these two servers worked wonders. They interacted with our kids and made excellent suggestions, making sure that even the little ones enjoyed their food.

We ordered the Chicken Teriyaki Donburi, Vegan Yasai Yaki Soba with rice noodles, Chicken Ramen, Yaki Soba with chicken and prawns, Bang Bang Cauliflower, and Shitake Itsumami. Every dish was beautifully prepared, and with their recommendations, it felt like each item was tailored to our preferences.

We’ve been regulars at every coffee store in Uxbridge and beyond but none come close to Nero’s. Every time we step inside we are warmly welcomed by the staff, but I must mention Julia, Austin and another I didn’t catch the name of. Truly impeccable service, by the time Julia kindly asked if we had been served yet, Austin spun around from the coffee machine and promptly handed our order. He remembers exactly what we order and how we like them made, with the amount of customers he must see everyday this is very impressive and commendable. Aswell as flawless service, I should mention the coffee is perfect every single time without fail. I cannot stress how rare this is, Austin is able to consistently produce the same beautiful coffee everytime we order. All of the staff work together so smoothly and efficiently, thank you to all of the staff there that make my 15 minute coffee break a highlight to my day.

Really enjoyed our food at this restaurant. Food was good quality and portion size and meat melted in the mouth. We did have a £100 bill for 2 people though without alcohol so was on the expensive side, plenty left over to take home though.
We were the only people who were dining in on a Friday night so was very quiet and awkward being the only table. Restaurant was cold too and we ate in our coats.
Seems to be popular for take away.
We paid for the car park round the back but actually we didn’t need to - you just register your car registration inside the restaurant. We didn’t know this so ended up paying to park when we didn’t need to.

And oh my God don't even get me started here's a little secret if you get some Yums Yums you can ask the workers to get them heated up. And it is a delicacy, they are so beautiful and so HOT! It's so lovely after a cold winter day just going to Greggs you just have a hot Yum Yum amazing. Absolutely amazing. I just I love going here. Even when my kids are pretty loud they don't even kick us out. They truly understand what it's like to have kids! Other than my kids being loud (I do get them to quiet down, don't worry) it is a quiet spot. Perfect for a quick snack. I work from home and from time to time I do my work in there and it's at the perfect voice level. No crazy people disturbing the peace, apart from my kids haha?. Honestly, it's one of my favourite places to go. This is what I like to see in Britain, this we need more of this in England.

Your poor staff are at their wit's end dealing with paper cups and irate customers who can't understand why it is taking so long. You've replaced chairs etc but your poor staff have to wash and sterilise all equipment by hand!!
The small Costa in Uxbridge had their dishwasher replaced within a week of the old one breaking down.

I had a very enjoyable experience at this restaurant. From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming, attentive, and highly professional. The service was efficient and friendly, which made the whole visit very comfortable. The Best Staff I meet on Uxbridge places?

The food was excellent – fresh, well-presented, and full of flavor. You can clearly see that great care goes into both the quality of the ingredients and the way the dishes are prepared. The menu offered a good variety of options, so there was something for everyone.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was also very pleasant: clean, well-organized, and perfect for a relaxed meal. Overall, everything met a very high standard and exceeded my expectations.

I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will happily return in the future. ?️?

Decent Chinese takeaways are getting harder to find. This place is about the best I've used in a long long time. Food is first rate with a massive menu, prep time is epically quick and the peeps behind the counter, very professional and courteous. All of this makes this place my first choice.
Reasonable parking and decent location are bonus too.

Tried the McD's in Chimes shopping centre but it was just too busy and could not get a seat, so came to this one. A lot more free seating available, food was piping hot! and the server was very polite. Was offered face painting for the kids(at additonal cost, which we declined but it's nice to see), and kids activity packs were offered for my little ones - currently playmobil collaboration.
