Old Worlde Pub with eclectic interior bang in the Center of quaint old Downe home of Charles Darwin.Lovely warm welcome from charming young bar team. Great service and dap hands at pulling a number of pints of Harvey's Bitter. The beer is exceptionally well cellared as you might expect from Camra Pub of The Year 2014.Jackie greeted us as old regulars as we had thoughtful pre ordered lunches. Lovely little tea shop attached to the pub. My partner had soup and a sandwich, which he said was delicious. I would recommend this quirky little place, when visiting the village of Downe.
