“My friend stayed while visiting the area, the food was very tasty. The room was clean and comfortable looking, my friend said she the room was cosy and she felt safe and it was quiet. The site was difficult to find.”

“We wanted to try a local pub while staying in Kew Gardens so turned up on a Thursday night with no booking ? The staff were lovely and fitted us in at a lovely table and looked after us brilliantly all night. My partner had a beautiful gnocchi and I had a great steak pie. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone was smiling. There was live music and a great atmosphere with all types of people dining or just catching up, couples, families, and groups of friends… Would definitely recommend ☺️”

“This place shocked me, firstly it's nothing like what you expect it to be walking in it is actually a sizable establishment and the food was fantastic but the nicest part about the venue was the beautiful garden with the aviary with rabbits and different budgies/birds and to top it off they have a pet fox who is clearly happy and loves the attention of people and shows it by jumping about and showing you his toys etcAbsolutely not what I was expecting but we'll worth a visit”

“A wonderful independent pub run by a lovely husband and wife. The pub passed my burger test!! The burger was made with minced beef served with blue cheese and gherkins. The side salad had a delicious dressing and the chips were fabulous too.The landlady was friendly, engaging and very hospitable. Can't wait to try more things from the menu!”

“Great local pub in a fantastic location with a lovely atmosphere and a good-sized beer garden.Parking: Parking is mostly around the Common. If you head up the road towards Ham Gate of Richmond Park you'll find lots of free spaces there”
