My partner booked this restaurant for my birthday and although quite quiet it was absolutely wonderful! This is a family run business and all of the wait staff were so attentive - when asking about vegetarian options they gave me a separate menu and even said that if there was a meat dish I liked the look of then they would make it fresh for me with tofu! Waitresses were friendly and looked after us. We ordered the hot pot, as well as the green curry which I recommend. We were so impressed with the food and service we ordered a takeaway later that week.
Food is hit and miss at this restaurant. It depends on who is in the kitchen I guess. At times I have had great food in here but today, had to mention it if they are up for a constructive feedback from their local regular customer. The pork in black bean sauce was too salty and sweet. No black bean taste at all just brown colour runny water. Rice portion was too small as well.
