Just got back from having a meal here. Lovely place and exactly what we were looking for. We are staying at the Radisson conference hotel and going to the expensive and more than likely lifeless on-site restaurant did not appeal. The Plough is approximately a 20 mins walk in a straight line from the hotel. Plenty of choice on the menu at good prices with a a good selection of beers, lagers and wine. Looking for a relaxing lunch before dropping my wife off for a flight and not wanting her to be ripped of in mayhem in departures restaurants, came across this lovely old pub less than 10 minutes away. Not too busy. Fabulously warm hospitality. Excellent chicken kebab dish and chicken New Yorker dish wit lashings of salad, chips and three hot veg. Promptly served and delicious. The food was delicious, flavorful, and very reasonably priced. We enjoyed nice cold beers and friendly, helpful staff. It was a cute little spot that could use a little TLC, but an overall great experience.
