I went to watch an emo band recently. They were really good, super nostalgic ? the venue itself is good, small but cosy inside space, while the band was on, the bass rattled my insides near the front. Which again, nostalgic for me. They played good music after the band had finished. Great smoking space outside. Maybe more heat lamps needed haha. The drinks are actually affordable and they do these giant green jugs which are tasty.I noticed they had loads of different event posters...read full review

Excellent music venue. So glad that the management have barred a narcissistic guy who causes trouble and claims to be a victim. The women are a lot safer since Tom S got barred. The doormen take complaints seriously and always assess whether a situation is serious enough to warrant a barring or not.

I’ve been going to wood for years now and I can honestly say I’ve never felt more welcomed or safe in a club/pub! Even the customers make sure everyone is safe! I defo class these people as my family and I’ve made some amazing memories! Gigs are always amazing too! Not to mention they always have cherry sourz on tap for me ? love you guys so much xoxo
