Excellent sized portion of chips especially as English chippers tend to be on the smaller size portion.The Irish curry sauce is fantastic.The cod was a good size and tasted fresh.The staff are very polite and happy.They do accept card which is helpful however use cash where possible .Very good value for money.
Just tried this chippy for first time today....meat and potato pie chips and gravy...£4.00..great price and it was all good ......haven't seen pies that cheap around ashton chippys.....so give it a try see what you think ........?

This chippy is always packed which gives you a clue as to how good it is.Ordered Haddock, chips and mushy peas.The fish was cooked fresh when ordered.The staff were friendly and efficient and the food was fabulous.
