I visited blue anchor for the first time last night and can honestly say best chip shop food I’ve every had , kicking myself that I’ve never been before, ever thing was perfect, excellent chippy.
Excellent chippy, great people. They'll do separate wrap on fish, or lightly battered to order. Details make the difference. Prices are fair too. Nice eat-in area, they take cash and card.

Best fish and chips in Horwich! Wouldn’t go anywhere else but here. Nice lightly battered fish, no grease on chips and curry sauce is perfect. Staff are always helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.
