Spent great evening having drinks and a meal. Good value and great food. They have a good selection of hand pulled ales. The staff are very helpful and friendly. It's good to see a "local" busy mid week.
This is a pub. With good, hot, pub grub. Excellent selection of gins and beers plus many more drinks. It is not fine dining, but, it was a lovely pie and chips and the welcome is excellent. Biscuits for our dog and a bowl of water for him. Friendly and happy staff. Really traditional pub. There are screens for sports matches but unless a big game is on, they are unobtrusive. As a new dog owner, I have found somewhere that I can't wait to return to. Not been at night for over 10...read full review
