Great selection of Holt's and guest cask ales, perfectly kept. Great for food too - love the pies from HM Pasties!Parking: Need to register your car's registration at the bar to get free parking.
The Crown is on my way back when I go for a wander over Rivington. Personally, I've always liked the place. There are other pubs locally (loads), but I like to lock my mountain bike to the railings and have a quick couple before rolling home down Crown

Took my niece for a meal. Food was delicious, service was excellent, staff were very helpful. We hadnt planned on going for a meal, it was a last minute decision. And as it turns out a really good one. We even git a voucher for discount in January. Would highly recommend.Parking: When you go in to the crown they ask if you are in car park the bar staff direct you to a machine to register your car
