A fantastic pub/restaurant with superb friendly service and great food and drink. We visited as a party of 11 for a birthday celebration. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone enjoyed their meals.
I took my wife to the Toby this afternoon for her birthday. (In the dog friendly bar area. )We hadn't been for maybe even a couple of years.The owner immediately made us and our two dogs welcome, even bringing meat for our dogs.The service was great. The food was excellent. (The food, as always, was cooked to perfection. NEVER overcooked. )The starter of king prawns in chilli and garlic butter (from the specials) was to die for.....

First time here and didn’t disappoint from atmosphere, room setting, service, staff and most of all the food! It was amazing and delicious. We have been scouting/looking and trying places around the area and so far The Toby Inn, Bolton won it to our liking!! Definitely going to be one of our favourite place to eat/drink. Well done! Highly recommended. Ps: only fair to mention we are quite fussy customer ☺️
