The Micker Brook
Councillor Ln, Cheadle Hulme, CheadleTo be greeted with two big smiles from Julie and michelle made us feel very welcome at the Micker brook. Julie was very helpful in helping us navigate the kids menu, she was extremely pleasant in serving us our drinks. Also offering us extras to our carvery.
Michelle was extremely supportive of Julie offering her help and support at the bar. What can I say Michelle saved the day. My niece was having a meltdown over her teddies head falling of. Michelle came over and spoke to her and reasurred her and made her smile. Giving her a new teddy, Of course she was delighted and stopped crying. Thank you Michelle.
Michelle followed this up by serving my nieces food to her, who was delighted to see her again and thanked her. Michelle was extremely prompt in adding and bringing all the sauces to the table and making sure all was OK.
Carvery was spot on. Drinks great. Kids loved the fact that they could go up to the kios with there tickets for ice cream.
Staff at bar and restaurant and dealing with food. 10/10

5 Gatley Rd, CheadleBeautiful calming atmosphere and the food is so fresh and fragrant. I’m definitely gonna be going back soon. I tried the mixed grill platter with potatoes and it was enough to share between two people and a great price.
The place contains beautiful decor and amazing music as well as elegant glassware on the tables!

I shared the jackfruit creamy curry, chana daal, peshwari naan, lemon rice and szechuan fries, plus I had a vegan mango lassi - my first ever! Absolutely everything was gorgeous and beautifully presented, good portions and I was stuffed by the end. Really reasonably prices too, I'll definitely be back.

67 Station Rd, Cheadle Hulme, CheadleI booked a table for 2, my friend and I needed a table for a nice meal and a private conversation, there was some confusion as to the request for a quiet area although we did get an understanding and we got 3 tables in a corner perfect, sadly the music was to loud and disruptive taking over the atmosphere, but there was nowhere else, our service was good, polite and attentive staff, the beers were slightly disappointing, more fizzy largers and heavy hops, however there was a selection for the larger lovers, I settled for skull ☠️ candy, 1 pint 2½hrs, the food was good, fresh, but I requested no tomatos, however the tomatoes arrived, but overall we enjoyed our time and I would recommend the John Millington.

We were Greeted by Lisa who showed us to our table. Such a lovely welcome. Nothing was to much trouble. Our afternoon tea was absolutely delightful. Lisa was very attentive without being intrusive.Dietary restrictions: We were asked if we had any dietary requirements? I said raw black pepper Lisa went to ask chef and there was black pepper in the chicken Caesar wrap. So chef made some more up without pepper.

Food arrived hot with fast delivery... pizza portion is generous (pizza fit the box perfectly), most importantly delicious and does not feel greasy- we had Pepperoni Passion and Mexican Hot alongside the garlic bread pizza. Will have to try the other food on offer next time as dont want to miss out! Well done.

From the outside and the surrounding area you might just pass by and never even notice but this place serves the best Indian in south Manchester and at unbelievably reasonable prices considering today's prices and the cost of living.I've tried Indian food throughout the world and UK and this place is my favourite.The staff are super friendly you can tell it's a family run business. They go the extra mile to ensure you are comfortable and even bring little unplanned extras for you to try out.Definitely worth 5 stars .

(Eddie and Marc).We spent a few nights in the red lion getting used to Guiness etc. Janet Watkins I believe her name was,her mum used to be in school with John Mayall,her dad worked on the airport...anyway,great to know it's still around! Sopranos Pizza And Grill Bar
10 Church Rd, Gatley, CheadleI can’t recommend this place enough! The customer service was absolutely outstanding and the food was excellent. I accidentally ordered two 12-inch pizzas instead of two 16-inch ones, and when I rang up to see if I could change it, the manager was incredibly kind and offered to give me two 16-inch pizzas free of charge. That level of generosity and customer care is rare these days, and it really made my experience memorable.
The pizzas themselves were delicious – fresh, full of flavour, and clearly made with care. A big thank you to the team for going above and beyond. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to friends and family

Took around 40 minutes to be delivered however this is made clear on the menu in the Tap.Food arrived still lovely and hot in tiffin dishes. Both dishes (chicken pad krapow and lamb shashlik) were delicious and cannot recommend this enough! Lovely addition to the Chiverton Tap.

It does not go for an upmarket "authentic" style rather this is honest good value "Indian" food aimed at British taste. BYOB a huge bonus. Best meal we have had from there, food was delivered promptly and was hot, just the right amount of seasoning, the curry was spot on, chow mein was light and delicious. 22 Stockport Rd, CheadleMe & my wife called in for something to eat and was pleasantly surprised on a Sunday teatime 5:30 that they had some great ‘Live” Music with a Southern Irish feel to with a great singer. We both had a Panini one with Chicken & one with Beef. They came with chips. (Great portions) The price is very reasonable including a Pie & a pint for £8. Staff were friendly and helpful and a great asset to the place. I spoke to Dave the Manager and he says they have live music on a Saturday & Sunday. We will mostly definitely be back & would recommend if in the area you pay the Royal Oak a visit ??

The restaurant offered half portions of any dish for the kids menu and we choose one of the special banquets; chicken & cashew, chicken wings, ribs, duck pancakes and a choice of 2 main courses, fancy rice and refillable crackers, it was all delicious

I just tried this shop out while passing by and needing some quick food, not expecting anything special but I was so shocked. It was amazing. The fish was perfect, batter crunchy and great portion size for the chips.

However, when I received my order the wrapping said ‘gluten’ on the packaging to show it was gluten free. I had to go back in to check which food was which. It was rather confusing and would prefer the food to be clearly marked as ‘gluten free’. Nevertheless, staff were lovely and food was great!

Very accommodating to make the experience eventful and we will definitely come back again

136D Turves Rd, Cheadle Hulme, CheadleTurves Road Cafe did the catering for my husband's birthday. We had a room at Heald Green Social Club and Sam did the catering . Amazing buffet, everything was so fresh and delicious, every one remarked how good it was. Made Howards 80th very special. If your having a function Turves Cafe is exceptional

67 Station Rd, Cheadle Hulme, CheadleI booked a table for 2, my friend and I needed a table for a nice meal and a private conversation, there was some confusion as to the request for a quiet area although we did get an understanding and we got 3 tables in a corner perfect, sadly the music was to loud and disruptive taking over the atmosphere, but there was nowhere else, our service was good, polite and attentive staff, the beers were slightly disappointing, more fizzy largers and heavy hops, however there was a selection for the larger lovers, I settled for skull ☠️ candy, 1 pint 2½hrs, the food was good, fresh, but I requested no tomatos, however the tomatoes arrived, but overall we enjoyed our time and I would recommend the John Millington.

The chef came to chat and see if I had enjoyed everything , which I had.
Also they allow a corkage which I didn't see on the website..
Low footfall in early December so I'm unable give a higher recommendation on the atmosphere. Thank you . I Will be using again.

Coffee Fix
80 Church Rd, Gatley, CheadleCoffee was delicious just the right strength and flavour. Friendly staff made us feel very welcome and not rushed at all. We were allowed to linger over the menu at the start and again over our plates at the end. Food was really tasty with quite a good selection.
