We ordered a takeaway tonight and we were massively overcharged. We ordered 2 curry’s 2 rices and a naan bread and the order was over £40. When we called up to ask why it was so expensive it was because they charged us for sauces which they sent us 14 different sauces which we didn’t ask for and refused to accept back when we didn’t wanna pay for 14 sauces which we didn’t ask for. Very argumentative and did not wanna help or refund us. They are usually a really good takeaway...read full review

Love this place, I've been coming here for 20 years on and off.I went to the Sunday buffet this week.The poppadums were slightly stale, not as if they were left from the day before a few hours old.All the other food was excellent and there was a great selection.I'm not a big fan of the massive screen in the there. Not sure why they've got a great restaurant and plonked a giant TV for the football in it.

We have been using Gatley Tandoori since it opened many years ago as a takeaway, then more recently as a resturant as well. Definitely the best Indian in Manchester and the benchmark for all others
